Student Leader speech

Here is my Speech for student council Hope you like it.

Malo lelei and greetings to you all,as you all know name is Siale Faeamani. I’m standing up here with happiness and pride as I have been selected to be one of our school leaders.

First of all I just want to say thank you to all the Teachers who selected and also to our heavenly father for always believing in me and also leading me to the right path as the saying John chapter 3-16 : For god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  

My personal goal for this year as a student leader is to make our school the best place where everyone can enjoy learning and feel safe at.

Lastly I would to say a big thankyou to all the teachers who selected me,Malo aupito…….

Kiwican Reflection.

WALT: Write a Reflection on what we did at kiwi can today.

Hi,Today we were back at Kiwi Can,As we were making our way down to the hall to me I felt good to be back at Kiwi Can again because it helps me develop my student leader skills and it also helps me to increase on my positive mindset and also towards to my learning.

As we made our way down to the hall.We were shocked that miss Lituia was gone.Mr M said she was gone to teach kiwi can at Tangaroa college.I peeked inside to look if someone was there and I saw it was my new kiwi can teacher.I felt weird and sad at the same time.As we were starting of our activity I was really happy.When we had to get in our group we had to say a good compliment to the other group.When it was my turn to say a good thing about Biana that's when I stopped talking for a bit but I felt confident and said something good.

What I felt challenging for today was thinking of a good thing to say to Biana.Also I found challenging was to fight back to losana about the discussion.I may of lost but in my heart I won.Next week I want to learn about confidence.

As the Blues team was named, Finally the 2017 Super Rugby season has started with all good results for all  New Zealand teams.As some of us know the first game of the 2017 season was last Thursday night, saw my Auckland Blues start their season of with a big 56-18 win over the Melbourne Rebels as Rieko Ioane scored a hat-trick with one of his best performances of his Super Rugby career. 

Something that I found challenging was trying to Reflected on what I saw happening while the game was on and also trying to find more and more information about the game.And also something that I found enjoying was that they were sharing the ball with one another and also working as a team to pull of one of their best wins of Super Rugby.

Kiwi sport Reflection

WALT : Write a Reflection on what we did at kiwi sports today.

Hiii today we were back at kiwisport today with badminton.Today was our 2nd time at badminton kiwi sport this year,as you all know Badminton Is a sport played using 2 racquets and 1 shuttle to play the sport.As we were making our way down to kiwisport our coach Ben told us to sit down so he could tell us what we were doing today.

Today my Partner again was Gray,I thought me and him did great becauses we were trying our best to hit the shuttle the right way.To me I thought Gray was very good at it because he would only make some mistake,And I made a lot of mistakes but he would tell me to keep on trying my best because I will get better soon.Today we were just adding on our hand grips so i'll just go over them one more time the first gip is the backhand grip,as you all know the backhand grip is holding it like your shaking someones hand.And the last grip is the four hand grip,The four hand grip is just like holding a pan.

Something that me and gary felt challenging was keeping the shuttle in one place and also next time we need to make sure we keep the shuttle off the roof.

Technology Reflection

                           WALT: To write a Reflection on what we did at Techology.

Yesterday was our 2nd week at Technology,As we were making our way to Tamaki college Inside the bus everyone was singing there own songs they made up,but I was just sitting down and talking to my mate kenneth.By the way the bus smells like B.O,because everyone was hot on that nice sunny day.well that's what I went through while we were in the bus,as soon as we got there we all hope off the bus and then we all had to line up in our technology classes.This weeks session we were making Potato Salad and Chicken Kebab,in my head I was saying yummy.When we got there we all had to go and sit on our tables,I was in group 1 with my mate daimai.

Potato Salad: 1.Slice the potato 2. Cook with 2 cups of water 3.Dice the spring Onion and also the Purple Onion 4.Drain the potato after its cooked with the Onions and Dressing.

Chicken Kebab: 1.Dice the Chicken 2. Wet the Sticks,Skewer the Chicken 3.Tip into Source and place it on a flut tray. 

I think me and daimai did well because we worked as a team to finish it and also we made it taste yummy.One thing I found challenging was trying to cook the potato easily so it was not burnt.And one thing that I found fun was working together with my mate daimai and also we liked the way we helped the other groups if they needed help.

Kiwi Can

WALT: Reflect on our first session of Kiwi Can for 2017 

Last week was our first Kiwi Can session for this year,to me I felt good and happy to be back  at Kiwi Can again because kiwi can can help me develop my skills of working together with other people and also it helps me have a growth mindset towards everything in life. As we made our way down to the Music room.Ms Latoya came out and gave us a number and told us to go inside and to sit in 4 lines according to the number Ms Latoya told us.In my group I was with Losana,Gary,Ana,Faith, Agnes and also Rosemary.When we all ready to start Mr M said we were playing this game using only names of Fruits,the fruit's were Apple,Pear,Orange,Banana.At first I was not sure but then he told the class that it was dance moves. The dance moves are like this, Apple, Hips to the right, Pear, Hips to the left, Orange, Jump to the front and Banana, jump to the back.To me what I found challenging was that I was trying to learn the dance moves as fast as I could,But what i enjoyed was working together with my team as also never giving up on what we were doing.

Patriots win their 51st super bowl...

                                          WAL: Write a Reflection about my news article.

My team the Patriots have now won their 51st Super Bowl with one of there best comeback wins,to win the super bowl final over the Falcons.The Patriots came back from a 25-point deficit to win the 2017 Super Bowl,Most watched sport in USA.The win means that the Patriots’ Tom Brady becomes the first quarterback to win five Super Bowl championships.
Brady was also named the Super Bowl's most valuable player for the 4th time in his career while the Atlanta Falcons were denied the NFL title.I think that they play well and also as a team to pull of one of NFL's best wins of this year,and one thing that I loved was that they believed in one other and they didnt give up.One thing that I found challenging was that I had to retell the whole thing again because I forgot some things that happened in the game,but I thinked I did well with retelling what my point of view of this super blow final.

Valentine's Day.....

WALT: Understand the origin of Valentine's day.

                                    Hi,Did you guys know that Valentine's day is in Rome? 

I didn't know that until I started to research with my group about Valentine's day I now have more information about Valentine's day for me to talk to my class and peers about if they dont know what valentine's means. 

With this task I was working with 2 of my class mates Sifa and Gary. I think we worked as a team together and well so we could finished this task in the amount of time we got. 

Something that I felt enjoying during this task was sharing ideas with my peers about what we think valentine's is?,and also researching about this for my first time because some information I found about valentine's, I didn't know at beginning of this task.What I felt challenging during this task was that I was trying to find the answers for some of the questions that I got on the sides.

Technology Reflection...

Hi everyone today we were back at technology,I was excited to be back because I was in the best group of all of them,food technology.When we got there we all had to put our things on the table,then we put on our aprons.Then we had to get out all of our equipments for our cooking,because today we were making cinnamon and jam muffins,Here are the ingredients for our cinnamon and jam muffins.

1 cup of Milk, 1 cups of plain flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 sugar, tsp of baking soda,25G of butter, cinnamon & Jam, Brown sugar,Cinnamon and Jam Muffin,In the oven for 15 min....

 Today my partner was Daimai,It was fun to work with him because when it was time to cook me and him were concentrating on that one thing,making it look good and also making sure it tastes like a piece of food from Heaven.I think next time I need to work on making sure that the equipments go back to the same places were I found it in when we first came in,but I think we did a great job working together and our Muffins tasted yummy at the end.'Can't wait for next week' here are some photos from today's food session.

Numbers in Maori

WALA: The Value of numbers using the Maori counting system.

HI, Today we had to finish on Learning Languages session from yesterday,for this session from yesterday we had to come up with a random number and then we had to tell our teacher Ms komor.So after that we had to try our best to say it in Maori,too me I thought it was a little bit easy because it's just like counting in Tongan,and also Something that I felt enjoying was trying to work out saying it with the students in my group.So we asked if we could say it in our own language like for me in Tongan and others in Samoan and lastly Maori.

Something I found challenge was that I didn't say it correctly,but it's okay to give things a try. My goal now is to learn how to say the numbers in Maori so next time when we do this I know how to say it correctly.

Warriors too good for OKC City.

I am learning to write about my weekend.

On Saturday night Me and my Cousin Vita were just lying in bed,eating junk food like, up and go some doritos and some lollies while I was just going through the channels then it just popped into my head that my team,The Golden State Warriors were taking on the OKC Thunder.The Warriors won their second road game in as many nights after defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 130-114 on Sunday night.Making his anticipated return to Oklahoma City ,Kevin Durant was an ex member of the OKC thunder,after moving to the golden state Warriors.Kevin put his team on the board with his first shot of the night, and he continue to score more points throughout the match.Kevin Durant was leading the Dubs with 34 points,9 rebounds while the Splash brothers Curry and Thompson put 26 points apiece on the board,with the victory the Warriors are the number 1 team in the Western Conference.

HI today me and my class were learning about CYBERSMART,First Our Teacher Asked all of us if we knew what CYBERSMART means.Then she gave us some whiteboard markers so we can write what we think CYBERSMART means,I put FACEBOOK,YOUTUBE and Soundcloud.Then our Teacher would share us this CYBERSMART FOOTPRINT,The CYBERSMART FOOTPRINT asks you what information do you think you should keep personally and what things do you think that you can share with the world.I hope you guys think before you share things with the world thats what im going to do.I hope you guys learnt something new today.Please comment and I will be back to you ASAP!!!!Thanks!!!👣  

Kiwi Sport T1 W3 2017

WALT: Write a Reflection on our first season back to kiwisport.

Hiii today was our first season back to kiwisport this year.For the first the four weeks of our first kiwi sports is badminton,Badminton Is a sport played using racquets and shuttle across a net.The most common forms of the game are "singles",Singles are one per person each side.Our coach's name is Ben,Ben was also our coach from last year and he has played for Auckland and others teams.

Today my Partner was Gray,I thought we did well because we were trying our best and giving it our all.Gray was a good team player because if I made a mistake he would always tell me to keep on going and I would be better after that.Today all we were doing was going through our two hand grips so the first gip is the backhand grip,The backhand grip is holding it like your shaking someones hand.The last grip is the four hand grip,The four hand grip is just like holding a pan.
